Hey, everyone!

I am looking forward to seeing my husband today. Work keeps him gone all week and it really is so good to see him when he gets home. We try to have a date night once a week, usually on Friday nights. It doesn't always happen but it sure makes a big difference in our marriage when we have that alone time. We have rules, though. We cannot talk about money problems, bills, the kids (makes me sad to leave them), and only positive things! It's funny because the first few times we just made small talk because we always talked about those things. Now we get a chance to talk about our goals and plans for the future. It is so nice!

I have stayed busy trying to update my "Control Journal," which is a tool FlyLady set up to help people like me stay on track. She calls people like me SHE's which means Side-tracked Home Executives. She offers free advice and has been so good for me...a real answer to prayer! My Control Journal is coming along nicely and makes me feel a lot better to have everything I need all in one spot.

I haven't had a chance to do much crafting really. I am hoping to be able to work on a few things this weekend if there is time. My daughter keeps wanting to play, too, so we'll need to work on something fun together!

Wish me luck, and say a prayer for me! I go to a hand specialist Monday and I really hope it goes well. It's been a long 4 weeks!!

All my news!

Hey, everyone!

Thanks for checking out my new blog! I am new to this and hope to have a lot of fun sharing with others.

I had a wonderful time Monday evening during our first ever Friendship & Fellowship meeting. I am so encouraged and uplifted! I thought everything went well. I will keep the prayer requests in mind and look for a lot of praise reports next month!! God is faithful! The food was yummy, too!! Don't ask me how many brownies I ate! LOL

Here's the recipe for the:
Chicken Snacks
2-3 cans chicken (drained)
1 cup mayonnaise
shredded cheese
½ pkg. Italian seasoning
2 cans crescent rolls
Unroll the crescent rolls and pinch perforations together. Stir ingredients together well. Place mixture in center of each roll and fold sides in. Bake at 375* for 10-15 minutes.
We were running short on time, but my best friend, Heather, managed to get the craft done. I made one tonight and had fun trying a new stamp. Pictures below!

My daughter is 6 and she wanted to try to make a faux paper tearing card so I told her what to do and I think she did an amazing job!! Photos below!

No knitting news. I broke a bone in my hand about 4 weeks ago and not able to knit yet. When I get the chance, I would like to make some fun little coasters in Easter colors.
