Card Class TODAY!!!!

Hey, everyone!

I made some thank you notes for my customers this month. I asked my daughter which ink to use with my new PWP stamp and she said Orangerie and I loved it! I grabbed some white cardstock, black cardstock and my now retired paper pack Finger Paints. I love the bright colors in that pack! This thank you card looks very fall-ish, huh? LOL This stamp is only $2.95 with any $30 order and while the Double the Fun Promotion is going on, you can purchase TWO PWP for every $30 order!
I am having a card class at my home today! There are six ladies coming and I am so excited! I can hardly wait! Here are the cards we will be making.
The card on the left is using the Good Timber stamp set and Burnt Umber Palette Hybrid Ink. The designer paper is Amberley Grace.
The card on the right features the Sweet Goodies and Tag Tidbits stamp sets. I stamped the "box image" in Burnt Umber and the sun image and sentiment in Orangerie Palette Hybrid Ink. The designer paper is Amberley Grace as well. I used my circle punch and two scalloped square punches. All is available from The Angel Company.
These are the other two cards we're making today! I used the Gerbera Daisy stamp for the focal image. I stamped it in L'Amore Red and Viridian Leaf Palette Hybrid Ink. The sentiment is from Build-A-Flower and I stamped it in the same ink colors.
The card on the right is another Amberley Grace designer paper card. I stamped stars from the Wild West stamp set and the Just A Note sentiment is from Tag Tidbits. All can be purchased from TAC.

If you would like to purchase a card kit for these four cards, leave me a comment or e-mail me at hoosier_card_angel@yahoo.com and I will be happy to get these mailed out to you. The cost is $10 for the kit if you are local and can meet me for pick up. If you would need these mailed out it would be $10 plus shipping costs. I do accept paypal but no credit cards please.

Have a great day!

StampTACular Tuesday Challenge TEA FOR 2

Hey, everyone!!

I don't have to tell you what today is, right? Christina and I are back this week with another fun challenge and we want you to join us! Today we made a gift and a card all in one...it's a two tea bag holder card! I love this idea and if you could only smell my card inside....the flavored tea smells like candy canes! Mmm! Here is the front of my card:
Winterberry paper, Gerbera Daisy stamp, glitter gel pens, Tombow markers, Premium White Cardstock, Black cardstock....all these supplies can be purchased from The Angel Company! Let me know if you want to place an order!
Here is the inside. You can slip in a couple tea bags like I did here, or maybe a little note and a tea bag or use it for something else .... some money and a note card....lots of possibilities! With Father's Day and Graduations upon us, these would make a terrific card and gift all in one! You don't even have to wrap it! LOL
Be sure you go check out Christina's awesome TEA FOR TWO challenge and leave her some love on her project! I will be back tomorrow for my Scripture Challenge scrapbook page and I am combining it with a Color Combo Challenge from Paper Wings. Thank you for hanging out with us today and I will see you tomorrow, same time, same place!

Double Challenge

Hey, everyone!

I am sorry I didn't get a chance to post anything for my StampTACular Tuesday yesterday! This is the first chance I have had to post anything on my blog! I wanted to share a few thank you cards I made for some really great ladies who had a FunShop with me in February! I hope you enjoy them!
This card features two of the stamps in the GOOD TIMBER (T-2700) stamp set. I used Viridian Leaf Palette ink (TT-213) and Burnt Umber Palette ink (TT-218) for the stamps. I sponged Reflection Blue Palette ink (TT-205) for the sky. The Thank You sentiment (TG-2972) is a free GWP stamp with any $30 purchase.
I just love this parrot from the Happy Day stamp set (T2736)! It's so fun to color. I used Noir Palette ink (TT-220) to stamp the image. I used Viridian Leaf Palette ink (TT-213) to stamp the sentiment (TG-2972). The sky is sponged with Reflection Blue (TT-205). I punched the image out using my Clever Lever Super Jumbo Circle Punch (D-73). The scalloped circle was punched with my Clever Lever Mega Scalloped Punch (D-700).
The sentiment (TG-2972) is stamped in L'Amour Red ink (TT-195). The image is from the Ice Cream stamp set (T-2630). I used Noir (TT-220) to stamp the girl out. I paper pieced the feet, arm and face. My gray tombow marker (F-07) gives a little hint of shadow.
This is the final Thank You (TG-2972) card I made. I stamped the flower and sentiment in L'Amour Red ink (TT-195) and the stem was stamped using Viridian Leaf (TT-213). I added Prisma Glitter (A-287) to the center of the flower.
These were really fun to make! I hope this gives you ideas on how to use the Gift With Purchase stamps you may have received for your $30 purchases. I have one more challenge to share with you today...the Scripture Challenge!
This week, the word is PEACE. I had fun with this challenge!! When I think of peace in terms of colors, I think of blues! I love blue and I just sort of put that together with the feelings I get when I am at peace!
My journaling reads:
Many times in my life, I have heard the word "peace" without truly understanding it's meaning. Sometimes I thought peace meant not fighting, or something my mother wished she had more of...as in peace and quiet. Peace was a symbol to be drawn on notebooks and displayed with two fingers. As I got older, I found out that peace is more than that. It's the feeling you cannot explain when God helps me make a difficult decision. It's the ability to be so heart-sick with grief that I don't know how I'll make it through another moment and then I suddenly feel God's presence and I know it will all be alright. As a mother and wife, daughter and friend, I realize peace is something to be sought after like a precious treasure and then once it's found, it's to be shared and used again and again. I also know that I have never known peace like the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace!
I hope you will enjoy your day!! There's more to share soon! Be sure you stop by Christina's blog to see what she is sharing...and Amber's too.

Gerbera Daisy

Hey, everyone!
It's the first day of February!! The month of LOVE and I wanted to share a card with you that I made using the Gerbera Daisy stamp (T-739) and For A Friend GWP (TG2967). You can get the For A Friend stamp FREE with any $30 purchase!
I stamped the image in L'Amore Red ink (TT-195) and the leaves and stem were inked with Viridian Leaf (TT-213). The sentiment is stamped in Noir (TT-220). I used my red and green markers from the Tombow brights markers (F-01) and the blender pen that comes in the set. I then added some adhesive to the center to adhere the Prisma Glitter (A-287) for some shimmer. The image layer has some red tulle folded behind it for more texture and color. It is really shimmery and pretty in real life!

I hope you like my card! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the first StampTACular Tuesday Challenge of the month featuring the Butterfly Swirls stamp set (T-2929). Thanks for hanging out with me today!

Hugs,
Bridgett

Fun Share!

Hey, everyone!

I have some fun stuff to share with you all! My friend, and fellow Angel, Mary, knows that I have had some personal issues that were going on lately and was having a rough time. She not only sent me an encouraging message on the forum at Paper Wings but she also was kind of enough to send me a RAK. Would you look at this awesome package? I love it!!!! I was so excited when I opened it and was looking through it. THANK YOU SO MUCH, MARY!!!! What a great treat! That little flip flop is so cute! I could go on and on but you can see how awesome this is!!!

Shelly had a FunShop on Saturday and let me tell you...she and her family put the FUN in FunShop! I had so much fun. I am looking forward to doing it again next month!! THANKS, SHELLY!!! Here are the cards I came up with for us to make. The first card features the WILD WEST stamp set which is 50% off today but tomorrow goes back to the original price! I used my Tombow markers, Stardust Glitter Gel Pens, Gray Tombow marker, and Treasure Seeker stamp set which is also half price today only.

The next card features the Gerbera Daisy stamp. I love it! I colored it in using my pink Tombow marker and got the two-tone effect using the blender pen that comes with the set. The image was inked using Belle Rose and Water Lily Green. The edges were sponged with Belle Rose ink. The strip of designer paper is from the Winterberry collection.
I wish you all could have been there to see all the cards these ladies made. They are very talented and I loved to see what they came up with!!!
Don't forget to check back tomorrow because we will have the last StampTACular Tuesday challenge of the month! Can you believe January is nearly over? I am surprised at how fast this month has gone! I will have one more project to share with you featuring An 'Udder Birthday stamp set. It's so cute and I just had to share with you all just how versatile it really is. I will pick a new stamp each month! Tomorrow I will tell you what stamp set we've chosen for February! See you tomorrow. Hope you'll leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Some of you wanted to place your order today to take advantage of the 50% off sale. Just give me a call and I look forward to taking care of that for you!
