The theme for this week's challenge is masculine! I don't do a lot of masculine cards for some reason but I do enjoy making CAS cards. CAS cards, for those that may not know, are Clean And Simple cards. When I think of masculine cards, I tend to think of clean lines, not much detail and nothing froo-froo. So I chose this bird and sentiment from Bird Notes by Treehouse Stamps. I think of nature when I think of masculine themes, so I simply colored the image and here is what I came up with:

I made this card for my mother-in-law's birthday. I colored 4 cupcakes that I had printed and then asked some coworkers to pick which one they liked the best. I didn't tell them which one was my favorite but we all agreed that this is the cupcake that we liked the most. I put this card together and submitted it. It was hard waiting until May 1 to see if I had won. It was even harder to wait without Internet service until May 5! So guess, what?
