Just a note!

Hey, everyone!

You know what today is, right? StampTACular Tuesday and I am here with a Challenge! You will need your Scor-Pal, white cardstock, Noir Palette ink, Viridian Leaf Palette ink, Trendy Greetings stamp set, and For A Friend GWP stamp. If you don't have those specific items, you can substitute what you do have. Today's card features a fun way to use those FREE Gift With Purchase stamps that The Angel Company offers with any $30 purchase.
Cut your white cardstock to 3" x 6" and then score at 3", 4" and 5". Fold your card in half with the raised score lines showing on the front of your card, facing out. (see photo for detail) Ink up the "Just a Note" sentiment from the Trendy Greetings stamp set with your Noir Palette ink. Stamp in the center of your card between the two score lines. Stamp the leaves from the GWP stamp set in Viridian Leaf Palette ink in a random pattern along the top and bottom portions of the card. Now you are finished and have a sweet little note card made up to put in your child's lunch box, your husband's vehicle, to leave by the phone or on your desk to write notes to the school, a word of encouragement for your friend, or as a reminder of things you need to do!

If I have inspired you to create a card today, please leave me a comment with the link to it and let me know. I'd love to see it! I always appreciate your kind thoughts!

Have a specTACular Tuesday! Be sure you check back tomorrow to see my Scripture Challenge post!

FIRST 3x3 CARD

Hey, everyone!

I hope you all checked out Christina's purse! We had a lot of fun making our Christmas purses and thought it would be fun to share our 3x3 cards with you this week! I am going to show you the first card in the set today. I will have one to show you tomorrow and two more to show you Friday!
This card was made with red cardstock, cut at 3" by 6" and scored at 3" with my Scor-Pal. I love my Scor-Pal!!! It is my absolute favorite tool to use! I cut a piece of white cardstock at 2 3/4" by 2 3/4" and attached red star brads to the top right and left corners. I stamped the sentiment using my NOIR Palette Hybrid ink (that I absolutely love) and the poinsettia is a stamp I purchased from Hobby Lobby sometime back when they had 50% off their stamps. I used my Tombow marker to "ink" it up and then colored in the shaded areas with the same marker. I highlighted some areas with my watercolor colored pencil. I cut the flower out and put it up on a foam square from 3M to give it some dimension.

I am sorry about the picture not turning out so great! In real life it looks much different! I hope you like it though and will check back to see the rest of the cards. Don't forget to hop on over to see what Christina has made! Be sure to leave us comments and if you make a purse and cards we'd love to see your creations, too...leave the link!

Have a great day!

Hugs,
