Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hey, everyone!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope you are wearing something green. If not you just might get pinched! Today is one of my favorite holidays! I started a tradition with my little girl when she was only 2 or 3 years old. We bake cookies and add green sprinkles to the tops! So fun!! Do you have any fun traditions for St. Patrick's Day? Leave me a comment or e-mail me...I'd love to hear all about it. It's my dream to visit Ireland someday!! In honor of this special day, I would like to share a couple of Irish poems with you! These always make me smile:

There's a dear little plant that grows in our isle,
'twas St. Patrick himself, sure, that set it;

And the sun of his labor with pleasure did smile,
and with dew from his eye often wet it.

It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the mireland,

And they call it the dear little Shamrock of Ireland.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I want to share a photo with you before I go of a little project I made last night with some scrap papers. It was fun to make and didn't take much time at all. The candle smells really good, too!
