A few years ago, I had altered some legal pads. It was fun to do and I enjoyed giving them away. I came across several, here recently, that had not been altered yet, so I measured the legal pad, cut and scored my cardstock and little by little came up with a cute little cover for it. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I just used a scrap for the bottom edge, and stamped on another piece of scrap cardstock then cut that out with my decorative edge scissors. Then I glued down a post card that went with the color scheme and I think it turned out well! Take a look! My daughter wants to make one for herself now. I'll work with her on that this weekend sometime. I'll be sure to post it later on so you can see! For now, here is the one I made:

What a pretty notebook, I love it. I bet things like this would sell great at a craft booth, I'm adding this project to my list! Thanks for the inspiration.
