Cards and Cookies...what could be more fun?

Hey, everyone!

I enjoy baking. I don't do it as often as I used to so pre-packaged cookie dough that is easily broken apart and placed on a cookie sheet is all the better! Tonight I decided to bake cookies with my little girl...Princess Kadesia! She even has the tiara!! She made her great-grandma a very special card and her baby brother squealed for more bites of the sugar cookie! Here are a few pictures of our fun evening:

Here's another sweet project I worked on recently. I grabbed a few supplies and made this card at my brother's house a couple days ago. It was for his girlfriend! She's a real sweatheart, so I tried to make a really nice card. I had VERY limited supplies and the scissors I borrowed from him (ALL THREE PAIR) were SUBSTANDARD! So, I did the best I could with what I had to work with and here's how that turned out:
