Hey, everyone!
Today was National Scrapbook Day and I really wanted to work on my scrapbooks today, but instead I ended up going through my large scrapbook stash to see what I could put together for our STAMP OUT CANCER and CROP FOR A CURE fundraiser my teammates and I will be having on May 17, to raise money for the Lawrence County American Cancer Society Relay For Life. I hope you will come to our fundraiser. If you can't come on May 17, grab a friend and come out to the Parkview Track and support us June 20-21 for the Relay For Life! There are so many fun things going on throughout the whole event!
I didn't get to scrap, but I did start cutting the pages for a 6x6 scrapbook I'm giving to my cousin! She just had a preemie baby boy! He's not even 3 lbs. yet but he is doing well. Please say a prayer for baby David that he will get to come home soon so we can all love on him and spoil him rotten!
As a relatively new stamper, I have not done a lot of challenges or contests. I was reading my friend Ashley's blog and she posted Brainwave Challenge #3 and I decided that it would be a fun one to try! I hope you like the card I chose to submit! It was fun to do and didn't take me very long to decide what I wanted and complete the project!! I hope you'll take the challenge, too!
For my card, I used Gentle Beginnings paper V900, "hello" sentiment from the Just Giggle Hostess A stamp set TA2816, and the cute little girl from the Ice Cream stamp set T2630. I colored the image in with Tombow Markers Bright F01. She is sitting up on dimensionals.
Thanks for looking! I hope you enjoyed the project! Let me know if you try the challenge, too!
Hugs,
Bridgett
