Hello, everyone!

Most people that know me will tell you that my absolute favorite holiday out of the entire year is INDEPENDENCE DAY! I love the 4th of July!! It's a wonderful time to celebrate with family and friends, gather for a cook-out in the back yard with burgers and hot dogs and my mom's awesome potato salad!!! It's so exciting to watch the big bursts of color lighting up the night sky as the fireworks are on display!!! BUT, the best part of all, is when we can take a few moments out of our busy agenda to remember WHY we celebrate and WHO we should thank for our FREEDOM that hasn't come cheap! Do you know a veteran? THANK THEM!! Do you know someone who is putting their life on the line right now fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and parts unknown? THANK THEM! PRAY FOR THEM! NEVER STOP UNTIL THEY ARE SAFE AT HOME!!!!!
In honor of America's birthday and in my opinion the best time of year to celebrate, I am offering up some BLOG CANDY!!!! I am offering an acrylic sticky-note holder, matching ink pen and bookmark! Here is a picture of what you can win:

My favorite memory is organizing the Cleveland Grand Prix, watching fireworks on the airport runway and serving ice cream to all my friends that where there.
My favorite things to see on blogs are great projects and tutorials.
Here's a link to my blog. I will have it posted shortly.

A great way to help the soldiers over in Iraq right now is to make cards for cardsforheroes.org We make cards to send over to them, they pick out what they want and send them home to their loved ones. You would be helping to touch a lot of hearts !

My favorite 4th of July memory is from 2002. It was the last get together we had with my dad. We hosted a big party at our house and it was fun for everyone. Even though it was HOT and my dad had trouble dealing with the heat, he never complained once. He watched his 7 grandkids and all of us big kids played "tennis baseball" and he manned the grill and we had the best cookout ever. We have had many parties here since that one, but none as joyous.
I love to see pictures! Pictures of your projects, pictures of the kids, pictures of whatever! I would enjoy seeing more pictures, nothing is boring to me.
Thanks for the chance at your first blog candy, and keep up the great job you are doing here, I enjoy visiting!
Hi, Nice blog. I always love tutorials and sketches for cards or layouts.
I think it is important to celebrate this holiday because freedom is never really free. There is always sacrifice.
Here's a card I made
