I wanted to give you all a quick update on how things are going here at Hoosier Card Angel Creations. Before I do, I want to send my prayers and kind thoughts to all of you affected by Hurricane Ike in Texas and surrounding areas. I live in Indiana and there was a lot of wind damage in this area, knocking out power, some schools (including my daughter's) didn't even go to school on Monday due to no power. We lost power briefly on Sunday and it came and went on Monday and yesterday. Our neighbors went a lot longer without power. I cannot even imagine what those directly affected by the hurricane have gone through. I will continue to pray for you all!
My friend, Christina, and I started a weekly challenge 2 weeks ago, called StampTACular Tuesday. It was an idea we had to encourage other crafters (as well as ourselves) to start making fun projects in new and different ways. You can see the winner of last week's challenge here. At this time we are going to postpone the weekly challenges. We greatly appreciate those that chose to participate. We will continue to share our creations, tutorials and lots more so please check back often!

I'm glad you're doing good. I've been affected by hurricanes while growing up (I live in the Caribbean) and yes, it can be really hard. Fortunatelly, our structures are stronger than in the US and we don't suffer that much damage as I've seen in US and other Islands like Cuba, Haity and Dominican Republic.
Hope you recover pretty soon.
