Christmas is near....

Hey, everyone!

Has anyone else noticed that the calendar is now saying NOVEMBER? I mean where in the world has this year gone? It is just zooming by much faster than last year even! Wow! My friend Christina and I were talking about how close Christmas is and I am just not at all excited about how soon it will be here, LOL!!!

Ready or not, here it comes, so we may as well just get ready, right? I went to a website recently where it has lots of forms you can print out with checklists for things to do each week so you won't get so overwhelmed that you can't actually enjoy the festivities once they start. There are planner pages to keep you on track and lots of neat printable things. The website is called Organized Christmas and it would be a great resource for those of you who are like me and tend to put off doing things until later! There are even sections for getting organized for Thanksgiving...which is just a few weeks away here in America!

I have not been acting like myself lately. It's strange but I have been humming and singing Christmas songs lately. I have even switched out my CD in the car for a Christmas one. Christina has sent me a few songs to listen to, as well, and I have started getting a little more excited about the thought of the holidays that are approaching...not necessarily about how near they are getting but just the fact that we are getting into that magical and GIVING time of year!

Tonight I was looking for some ideas for new projects to make at an upcoming event and I happened to see a blog that linked to another blog which is an amazing blog with tutorials and templates and the easy instructions for how to make this adorable little purse. My husband grabbed this paper when I asked him to bring me a sheet of dp so I cut it down to size, printed the template on the back and in a few minutes I had this really cute purse! I will be making three 3x3 cards to go inside it and will feature them Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week so be sure to check back!

Christina has agreed to play along with me this week and she, too, has made a purse that you just HAVE to see! I love it and I know you will, too! Be sure to check back with her often this week as she will also be making three different 3x3 cards to place inside her purse! It will be a fun week to see what all we can come up with!
