SUPER SUNDAY SHARE!

Hey, everyone!

Today is when I make my fun announcement! I have so much to share with you, though, so hope you have a little bit of time to read through this. It's really great stuff and I am super excited!

First of all, who doesn't love to get an award right? I try really hard to update my blog as often as I can with fun information, new projects, monthly specials with The Angel Company for all my awesome customers who read here, and news about my family for those who don't live close enough to see my kids growing and changing...so to get two blogger awards is really kewl to me.

Amber has so graciously given me the ENCOURAGED award and I am very honored. She has helped me and encouraged me a lot since I have known her, so for her to choose me for this award means a LOT! So, thanks, Amber!
The rules for the Encouraged Blogger Award are:
1. The winner may put the logo on their blog. (I will.)
2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award. (I did.)
3. Nominate 5 blogs. (See below.)
4. Put links to their blogs. (Just click on their name.)
5. Leave a message for your nominees. (I will.)

I chose the following people for the Encouraged Blogger Award...
1. CHRISTINA This is someone who will stop what she is doing to help me, chat with me, listen to me vent, understands my frustrations, and is a great example of a true Christian...never judging, living a silent witness of her faith!

2. HANNAH This is a great friend of mine...and will one day soon be my sister-in-law! She is a faithful friend, always encouraging, uplifting, kind and sweet. She prays and does her best to let the light of God's love shine through everything she does!

3. ANGIE This is a lady who enjoys stamping and sharing all kinds of awesome video tutorials on her blog. She is funny and kind and just really is so much fun to "visit" with when I go to her blog. She posted a message recently and it helped me so much and even though she has so much going on in her life, she e-mailed me personally and gave me a few more tips that just really helped me out. She is a blessing and I thank God for people like her!!

4. MELISSA This is a fellow-Angel who has been so inspirational to me. She has helped me out when I have questions, and being new to TAC and relatively new to stamping I have lots! She is also a PHENOMENAL mother and wife! I look up to her and enjoy reading her blog posts!

5. RITA This is another Angel...and I mean that in more than one way! She is such a joy to know. I am so honored to be in the Angelhood with her and have been so blessed to get to know her through Angel groups and reading her blog. She was going through Chemotherapy and still sent me a New Angel package filled with cards and samples from different Angels. It was so wonderful of her to continue to think of others instead of focusing only on herself. That is Rita...that is just who she is!

There are many more who have been encouraging and helpful to me...so I thank you all!

Christina gave me a Kreativ Blogger Award! I am so touched! Especially since she has oodles more talent and creativity than I do! Thanks for picking me!!!!

Here are the rules for this blog award: list 6 things you value, 6 things you don't, and 6 receivers. Well, I don't like those three numbers together (LOL) but I will do this!

SIX THINGS I VALUE
1. Freedom...and those who are responsible for ensuring I get to keep mine.
2. My needs are all met.
3. I have a great husband and two beautiful and healthy children God blessed me with.
4. My faith and relationship with God. I can't make it without Him.
5. My heritage...the way I was raised and always being in church.
6. Learning...always learning new things is such a wonderful thing!

SIX THINGS I DO NOT VALUE
1. Abuse in any form is always wrong!
2. Lying...I can't stand to be lied to.
3. Gossip...it's hurtful, most often untrue, and I have never not known it to not get out of hand.
4. Bad drivers...no turn signal and nearly run over you, right on my tail (I have children, precious cargo...back up!), speeding up and slowing down, those stupid bright blue lights....
5. Snow and ice....snow is pretty to look at but not to walk in...I am 30 years old and still can't walk in that mess and yes I am a Hoosier! Go figure... Ice, in my opinion, only belongs in my cup not under my feet or tires.
6. Seeing something posted on a blog that looks so fabulous I just HAVE to try it, and I click on the link that says FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE IT HERE only to see that I have to PAY for someone to give me the pattern or instructions!
(Quick note: selling your copyright stuff is great...just don't make it sound like it's free...LOL)

SIX RECEIVERS:
1. CHRISTINA I know she nominated me, but she deserves this award!!

2. JANY Just check her blog and you will see why she is getting this award from me! So talented!

3. VICKI I check her blog as often as I can! Great tutorials!

4. SARAH She has the best projects and I find myself wanting to try them all!

5. BARB I love Barb! She is so awesome! I love it that I can ask her anything and she is so quick to answer!! Her blog is so fun to visit!!

6. ANGELA Is there anything she makes that I don't love? I am thinking NO! I love it all!

Jany threw down a challenge to all that are in her Angelhood (which includes me) and since I am not one to walk away from a challenge, I will play along! Jany wants us to tell 7 truths about ourselves so you can get to know us all more. So here are my 7 things and I, too, would like to encourage the other Angels in our Angelhood to play along!

1. I love rainy days as long as I am not out in it, or driving in it. The rain makes me sleepy.

2. I want to write stories for children.

3. I am the happiest when I am surrounded by my family and close friends.

4. I enjoy singing so much!

5. I love to wear aprons in the kitchen just like my grandmother!

6. I believe in God but more than that I have a relationship with Jesus Christ!

7. I put peanut butter in my chili...mmm!

I was hoping to get some links to other Christmas card projects and you know what they say? Ask and ye shall receive! Laurie has some great Christmas cards featured on her blog! She also has a really pretty gift card holder up! I love making those. And for a new twist on gift card holders, check out Vicki's awesome project! I love it! And speaking of Christmas cards...Christina did a fabulous job on all of hers but I forgot one!!! So here it is and please be sure to let Christina know what a fabulous job she did!!!

The verse inside says: May Christmas bring carolers, holly, and snow, bright twinkling lights upon your tree...popcorn for stringing, and mistletoe, the warmth of friends and family.

Now I would like to make my announcement...I know how much you all love BLOG CANDY so I am posting some BLOG CANDY, too! This will be THANKSGIVING BLOG CANDY and all the details (and photos) will be posted later on this week, so be watching for it!

I would also like to let everyone know that I will have a booth at the Holiday Village on November 22 from 9 am - 4 pm and would love it if you would stop by and say hello if you are planning on attending! There will be so many fun things to see and do there, including meeting Santa Claus! I will have lots of fun stuff there...so bring your Christmas shopping lists and don't forget your own wish lists!! If you plan on attending this event, please let me know so I can send you a post card or e-mail to bring with you to my booth at the Holiday Village and redeem your free gift! Let me know if you want to be added to my mailing list. Hope to see you there!

Hugs,

It was so much fun to read about you and all the things that makes you being you. It is interesting you want to write books for children. Actually I used to write. I can tell you of two ways to start and don't wait until later. Who knows if you can read your children in a year or two one of your own stories. Sorry for not posting the kit last night, I just picked it up at 9:30 pm (not my scheduled time) and went home to sleep.

Hi, Bridgett! I really enjoyed reading all your "self-revelations"- no surprises as you are OBVIOUSLY a great person, but fun anyway!
