Tomorrow my daughter will be celebrating her birthday with her class at school. She doesn't get to celebrate the real thing until after Christmas vacation starts so her teacher thought it would be nice to celebrate this week. She has 19 kids in her class now and so we went shopping for a fun snack that she could share. We went to the Dollar Tree and I picked up some things I needed but we just couldn't find what we wanted there. After we grabbed something to eat, we went to Wal-Mart and looked at their cookies and things and we were so excited to see a package of sugar cookies with that really yummy icing and guess what? The package had 19 cookies exactly in it! She and I were so thrilled! LOL Isn't it funny how it's the little things sometimes that just makes your day? The temperature was only 19 degrees so I was eager to get home and warm up! I have NO IDEA how my husband can work outside in this weather. He's not feeling well and sounding hoarse. I sure hope he doesn't get worse!!! Poor dear!
So we got her snacks to take to school for her "birthday" party tomorrow and then Friday is their last day of school and she'll have a Christmas pizza party so that will be a lot of fun, as well. I have her teacher gifts bought and everything ready for the party, too. I am really looking forward to that. I hope to take pictures this time. I forgot to take my camera for the fall party! Ugh! I missed out on any shots for her Christmas program, too, so I really want to get some fun class photos for this party!
You know it's been ages since I actually made an ornament or something for the tree. I am not really sure why I hadn't tried to do something before now but the last time I made an ornament was as a young girl, I am sure! However, this year so many paper crafters were making ornaments for their trees and one in particular caught my eye and seemed so easy I thought I would like to try it. I used my Marvy Scallop circle punch from The Angel Company to make this ornament and I don't think that it turned out too bad. Here's my ornament:
Angie Judah from Chic 'n Scratch inspires me so much. She is so nice and sweet and helpful and her blog is awesome with all those video tutorials. I have learned so much from watching her and I love it! She made a video for these ornaments here. You definitely should check it out!
Please come back to see me soon. I just got two new stamp sets and I have them all cut and ready to go. I am eager to make some fun stuff! I'll share with you some new projects soon!
Hugs,

Hope you remembered to carry your camera with you! How was the party? AND really nice ornament! I didn't see the tutorial before and I'm suscribed to her blog. It might be because I'm behind in my blog reading without internet at home.
