Some of you know that I have been a Chemo Angel for 7 years now. It seems like only a short time ago that I received my WINGS on Christmas Eve 2001. It was a special time for me because 3 days after getting my Wings I gave birth to my baby girl!! Over the years I have had different buddies, some men, some women, some children. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. It's not a pen pal set-up...I send things like cards, letters, little gifts and things to brighten their day or let them know I am thinking of them. I have also been a Senior Angel which means I get assigned to a senior citizen who is lonely and doesn't really have anyone to check on them and they sort of feel forgotten! It is a great feeling to know that something as simple as mailing a card or sending a package of stickers to someone can mean so much! It takes so little time and not much money but a lot of heart and a big commitment.
Of course, I am not saying that to brag on myself by any means. I don't like to tell people I do it, actually, because it's not about me, it's about helping others. The reason I am sharing this with you now is that there is a shortage of Angel applications and ChemoAngels is needing someone to help! Do you think you'd like to sign up? If so, please visit them HERE to fill out the application. I know you will love it if you do! If you ever want some help with your Angeling, let me know. I have lots of ideas and tips that I have learned over the years!! Also if you know someone who would make a great Angel please share the link with them.
I also want to say that this has nothing to do with The Angel Company that I demonstrate for. I am more than one kind of Angel! LOL Hugs,

Why am I NOT surprised to read this about you? You are an angel in more ways than even YOU know! Thanks for being my TAC angel and thanks for being you!
Thanks for sharing this. I signed up too. What a great thing to do for others.

Hi Bridgett,
I used to be a ChemoAngel years ago! In fact I still keep in touch with one of my patients. He is in remission.
I just might have to sign up again.
Hugs,
Char
