I just wanted to share a couple awards that I received recently. I really appreciate being chosen for these blog awards and it means so much to me when I get an award along with a nice compliment. It really makes me feel good!
This first award was given to me by Christina a dear friend of mine.
Thank you, Christina! I appreciate the award so much. I do try to comment on everyone's blog that I visit and even though I don't get to always leave a little love, it is something I try to do! I know that comments are sometimes seen as too much trouble when you're blog hopping but it feels so great to hear someone say that they like something I made or shared, and as a new stamper, it really encourages me to keep stamping, keep improving, keep learning and keep sharing! So to all of you awesome friends of mine who leave me comments, please consider yourself chosen for this award! THANK YOU!!! I appreciate it so much! I also wanted to remind you that to show my appreciation to all of you who leave me a little love when you can and in honor of my one year blogaversary, I am going to give a blog candy prize to the person who leaves me the most comments this month! Here is my second award to share and it really does touch me to be nominated and especially after Barb, who is one of the most awesome Angels I have ever had the privilege to get to know, shared why she nominated me...that I always have something sweet to say and I'm genuine! What an awesome compliment...THANKS, BARB!!!
I give this award to Christina, Hannah, and all my Angelhood Sisters (check out the link list to the right and visit them) who keep me encouraged by the wonderful things they say and do!Now for another gift....a birthday gift for my father-in-law. He is a professional carpenter and when I saw this project on Mel's blog I knew I had to make this for his birthday! He likes PayDay candy bars so there's six standing inside the box.
I used silver brads and a black marker for faux stitching. I found some carpenter tool clip art so I printed them off and my husband used my markers to color them in realistically.
I know the photos are a little dark. I apologize for that. It was late when I snapped the photos but I am glad I did because my husband gave the box to his dad the next day! LOL I hope you like this nifty tool belt birthday box! I think it turned out pretty cute! If you make one, I'd love to know about it! Please leave me a comment and let me know where I can find yours!

Congrats on your awards! You deserve them! I love this card you made- it looks so hard to make though. But you did great! Lots of detail as always!
Bridgett- both awards are WELL deserved!
Wow you got your husband to color. Mine doesn't go in for that much.
You are right about comments on blogs it is so easy to search and hop and not leave what you think. I need to do better at that. I make an effort with those in my sisterhood, but really should on every blog I like.
