Getting organized!

Hey, everyone!

I am really thankful for those of you who have said a prayer for my uncle. It was great to see him and my aunt yesterday. I wish he was better but sadly that is not the case. I am trusting God to heal him though because I know He can do it!!! Nothing is too hard for God.

I had said my husband made me something that I wanted to show you so here it is:
Not sure what it is?
You know what a CLIP IT UP is? For those of you that may not know what that is, click HERE. A few years ago I got some 2 gallon zip top baggies and using my Dymo Label Maker, I made some labels for each baggie based on the category and then I put in alphabetical order. Each baggie has stickers, die cuts, paper, journal boxes, vellum titles, page toppers, and so much more all in the same theme. This made my scrapbooking so much easier since I was able to grab the baggie I needed for a crop and it shaved a lot of time off the searching I had done before to find the embellishment I wanted! The biggest issue for me was trying to find a place for all these baggies. I have used several different methods to organize my scrapbooking supplies and while there are lots of great storage options, many were either out of my price range or just not something I found to be better than my current method. I printed off the directions on how to make a "Sticker Gripper" found HERE. My husband saw what he needed based on the directions and stuff and then he came back home with a towel bar, shower curtain hooks, paper clips and clothes pins. Now I have a very sturdy and awesome unit to hang all my themed baggies on and I can grab what I need and go! It's so awesome!!! I am thrilled because I am trying to get my craft space organized and this will be a huge help! The kewl part is that he hung it up from a beam on the ceiling so it's not taking up desk, shelf or drawer space! It's out of the way but still handy! The best part is it only cost $12!!! If I need more shower curtain hooks that will be the only additional cost. I already have plenty of clothes pins and paper clips! I have made even more progress today...but there's still a lot more to sort and find homes for! It's been an adventure moving into the basement, for sure, but it's great because I can put things where I want them and that is really fun! I will have some projects to share this week...I will have the StampTACular Tuesday Challenge to post and then the Scripture Page on Wednesday. I will also share my BVC09 scripture for the month of March tomorrow! Have a great one!

Hugs,

Loving this. I still need to organize even more. I think I am close and then I buy more stuff or something changes. Crazyness.

That is so sweet of your husband to make that for you! Isn't great when our guys help us like that?
