My friend, CHRISTINA, and I had a really great online Bible study Monday night. It was so wonderful to share the scriptures we were blessed by that featured the word of the week: GLAD. We both had different scriptures to share and they were different interpretations of the word GLAD but both versions were insightful and uplifting. I enjoy the Bible study so much! Here is my scrapbook page:
The page reads:GLAD
I am GLAD that the LORD saved me. I am GLAD that He loves me!
I am GLAD that I have the Bible to show me the way home.
I am GLAD that God hears and answers my prayers.
I am GLAD that Jesus is my friend and Savior.
My scriptures are:
I Chronicles 16:31
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, the LORD reigneth.
Psalm 9:2
I will be glad and rejoice in Thee: I will sing praise to Thy name, O Thou Most High.
Joel 2:21
Fear not, o land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Psalm 32:11
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Revelations 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.
I love how these scriptures speak of rejoicing, gladness and joy. These are all emotions that our country and the world seem to lack so much of, especially with the way things are now. However, as Christians we have joy that God gives and that gladness cannot be changed by our circumstances! I am looking forward to Christ's return but I will ENJOY my journey until He does! Before I go...I'd like to send a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out to MICHELLE! Enjoy your special day sweetheart!
Hugs,
