It is already the middle of the week! I can hardly believe it!!! Soon school will be out for the summer, only a few more days left! Time sure is passing quickly! Today is Wednesday so that is when I share my Scripture Challenge 2009 scrapbook page with you all. Click on the link for more information on how you can participate in this challenge, too. I am on week 16, which is where we study HIS PRESENCE! Here is my scrapbook page using Premium White Cardstock, Black Cardstock and Tutti Frutti paper all from The Angel Company:
The sketch I used is from my Angel Sister, Laurie. It is an awesome sketch for a card but works great for a scrapbook page, too, don't you think?
The scripture I used is found in 2 Corinthians 5:8. Click on the link to read it from Bible Gateway. I love this scripture because it not only comforts me as I think about the loss of my loved ones on this earth, but it also gives me hope and leaves me longing for my heavenly home! Adam and Eve were probably the closest of anyone to ever be in the presence in the LORD repeatedly. The Bible tells us in Genesis that they walked with God in the cool of the day. My mortal mind just cannot fathom the extreme joy and jubilation I will feel when I get to be in HIS PRESENCE forever! There will be no appointments, clocks, schedules, alarms or messages telling me I am needed somewhere else. Nothing else will be more pressing or will take me away from being in HIS PRESENCE. I am so looking forward to that moment ...I can hardly wait!
