Scripture Challenge FRUIT

Hey, everyone!
Time for this week's Scripture Challenge scrapbook page. This week's word is FRUIT. I knew right away what stamps I could use for this page! I am using Hello Sunshine to make apples, oranges, grapes and blueberries. I have a retired GWP stamp of cherries and a previous SOTM set that has a watermelon slice in it! I have other fruit stamps too that are not from The Angel Company.
The scriptures I used are all in the King James Version. You can click on the scripture links to read from Bible Gateway if you want.
Fruit always makes me think of the summer season. I love to eat juicy watermelon, sweet peaches, crunchy red apples and soft bananas! It's nature's dessert! So sweet and good. I remember eating raspberries from the vine when I was growing up until my hands were all stained and my belly ached! Mmmm! So yummy! However, if you don't eat fruit fast enough it will not be good anymore. That is BAD fruit! LOL Yuck! Only fresh fruit for me please! Funny, that is how God prefers us to be...bearing GOOD FRUIT. We always produce fruit in every situation and circumstance we find ourselves in. It's up to us to choose to produce good fruit because we are in the Word, seeking God's face and not His hands, trusting Him and leaning on Him to guide and direct us. OR..... we can choose to produce BAD fruit by doing what we FEEL like, letting our own emotions and selfish desires dictate what we do and say to others. I don't know about you but I desire to be the good fruit! In John 15 we see that Jesus says that is how we glorify the Father...by bearing much fruit and that is how we will be known as His disciples!
I love the passage in Luke in particular. Sometimes we think we are bearing good fruit, maybe our intentions are good and our heart is in the right place, but we are so worried about the faults of those around us that we forget to look at ourselves. The Bible says when we do that we are hypocrites! We are judging others who may not know the Savior instead of loving them the way He does and praying for them! We can show our good fruit to them and be a light without ever preaching to them or shoving our faith in their face! The Bible tells us to be instant in season and out. That means we need to always be ready with an answer of why we believe what we do and be able to share it with those that ask. Just like when we cannot have fresh berries in the winter, frozen ones can still be used for pies and cobblers so we can enjoy the GOOD fruit whether they are in season or not! I pray that I will always bear much fruit and that my fruit will be good!

Hop over to Christina's blog. She has a wonderful FRUIT page to share with you today. Go be blessed by her scrapbook page and let her know if it blesses you! I'd love to hear from you if you are taking this challenge or maybe you just wanted to check out today's challenge page! I always love to hear from you!

Hugs,
