I just made 20 birthday party invitations for my son's 2nd birthday! He isn't two yet...but he will be very soon! We're having a birthday party the day before his birthday this year. It will be a Sunday! I just didn't want him to have to wait all day for cake and presents. We will still have a special celebration on his birthday but this way he gets to have a fun party, too! Here are the invitations...
He loves trains! Paul found this stamp at Hobby Lobby. I wanted to get a Thomas the Tank stamp but couldn't find one so when Paul found that one we decided to get it! It was a lot of work to stamp, color, and assemble these invitations but I am very pleased with the way it turned out! I used my Souffle pens for the white puffs of smoke and it really made a fun 3D effect. I used Tombow Brights Markers and Stardust Glitter Gel Pens, along with my Clear Glitter Gel Pen. Paul helped me a LOT with cutting the papers for me, stamping the inside and filling in the information and coloring all those "2's" and making the apostrophes. LOL
Hope you have a great day!!!
