I have been participating in a Scripture Challenge this year that Patter has shared on her blog. This particular challenge is using the word OBEY. I found 4 verses that I wanted to use for my 8½x11 scrapbook page. The scriptures are Job 36:11, Jeremiah 7:23, Deuteronomy 13:4, Colossians 3:22. Here is my page:
The journaling reads:As a mother, I love it when my children obey me. It brings me joy when I ask them to do something and they do it! I can only imagine how much more true that is for God, our Heavenly Father. We have been given commands, things to do while we are here on earth and when we do those things God asks us to do, I can only imagine how happy that makes Him.
I have a job now, outside the home, and this particular verse in Colossians 3:22 brings me peace and purpose as I study it. I know that I am only going to be working one shift a week after training is over. I will give it my all just like a full-time employee should because God blessed me with this job and I will honor Him by being the employee He wants me to be.
Obeying God is much better than NOT!

I hope you have been inspired today! If you are participating in the Scripture Challenges, too, leave me a link in the comment section, or e-mail me and let me know! I'd love to check it out! Be blessed!

Ohh you nailed this, it should hit every parents heart. Wonderful job.
Love this scrapbook layout! One of the first verses of scripture we taught our boys is Ephesians 6:1-3...has made a real impact on their thinking lineing up with God's Word. Thanks for dropping by my blog!
