Kinda Sketchy on a Thursday

Hey, everyone!

Last Wednesday I was supposed to share a sketch and project for my Kinda Sketchy post. I decided to post my Card Class projects instead. This week I wanted to create two cards with two sketches but I was so busy I didn't get to share it. So it's a day later than I hoped to show it to you but here is the sketch I used:
(Click on the sketch to read more about this particular challenge.)
I have shared some color combo motivationals here recently and have enjoyed those of you who share your cards with me. One person in particular attends my monthly classes. You can view Donna's blog here. She asked me to participate in one of her challenges! She wanted me to see how many shades of green I could get onto one card. So I took her up on this challenge and using the sketch (above) as a guide, here is what I made:
This entire card was made from my scrap drawers including the cardstock base. It's a traditional size but it was still in the scraps so I am counting it. It feels so good to use up a lot of these green papers that I have had for so long I don't even remember where some of it came from. I created some grass with some decorative edge scissors and then added some Green Color Box chalk to the cardstock. The image was colored in with Tombow, Bic Mark-Its and Copic markers. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the branches! The little circle measures ¾" and is stamped with Noir Palette Hybrid Ink using Tag Tidbits. The image is from The Joy of Easter and was given to me by my sweet blogging sister Angela. Hope you like it Donna!

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think! I don't usually do monochromatic cards so this was definitely stepping out of my comfort zone. I loved using up some scraps, though and trying different patterns.

This card is so cute! All of the green really makes it look springy...maybe even St Pattiesish
