I just made my first ever vlog! For those of you who do not know what a vlog is, it is a video log of your day, a vacation, or whatever. Think of it as sort of a video scrapbook of the day's events. I hadn't really planned to vlog but it kind of had a way of working out that way.
Yesterday, June 27, my mother came to pick up the kids after she got off work. I had to travel to Jasper to take my last test in Mental Health until my final exam July 11. I did really great and scored a 90% on my test. I am so thankful for lots of prayers and God's faithfulness to hear and answer prayers. I had been until 1:00 am studying and then had to get up at 6 so it was really hard to do, but I did it and I made it.
I worked on a project on campus. We have a presentation on Thursday so I was putting together my portion of the power point. I was glad to have that done and was so glad to be able to pick up the kids early.
June 27 is a very special day because it is my daughter's HALF birthday. Half birthdays are really special if you were born in the winter and most friends and family are out of town, busy with holiday parties, or stuck in bad weather. I wanted Kadesia to enjoy a half birthday during the summer so she could do fun birthday things in the nice weather, too. She really looks forward to it every year and I am so glad that we do this.
So, today I want to take you with my children and me as we celebrate my daughter's half birthday in a really fun way. I love any time I get to spend with my children and this was a great day for us. I hope you enjoy the video. Please be sure to leave me a comment if you want to see a particular video. Hugs,
