I went to the Dollar Tree and here is what all I got!!
They had the fresh linen wax bars that I am eager to use in my warmer. They had a large selection of candles so I picked up two scents for fall and one for the summer. They had the cutest little mason jar candle in Cranberry Smash so I had to get that! The jar is adorable! I noticed they had the cracklin' fire candle that sounds like a real fire burning in the fireplace. I love these candles! They would make great Christmas gifts! And then I picked up Island Escape that smells like pineapple! I am not ready to give up summer ... although I love the fall season, I am going back to college on Friday and I just want to hang on to my school-free days a little longer!
I saw the sweetest little sparkly pumpkin on the shelf among the ceramic ones and I just had to have it! It's so cute and sweet and sparkly! I love it!!
Speaking of school; my daughter is always asking me to define words for her, so I picked up a large print Webster's dictionary. I figure that she can use it for school and writing her blog, and I can use it in my S.O.A.P. Bible Study notebook.
Kadesia loves anything watercolor, so when I saw the scarf with watercolor stars on it I grabbed it! It's really pretty and was only one dollar! She loves it!
For the bathroom I picked up a new soap dispenser. I typically just use whatever bottle the soap comes in, but I thought it would be pretty to have this sweet little white ceramic, basket-weave soap dispenser sitting on the sink instead. The best part about getting a neutral color is that it goes with whatever color scheme I want to use. Kadesia was in need of a bath pouffe so I grabbed one in a seafoam, teal blue color that she likes.
The last few items I picked up were craft-related... of course! I purchased two packs of the mini glue sticks for my hot glue gun. There is 20 mini glue sticks per package for only $1!! I picked up two of those. I also had to get some white trays from the Dollar Tree and I will share in another post what I ended up doing with those!
It was pouring down rain SIDEWAYS when I was in the Dollar Tree but when I left the sun started shining and I thought, "There's got to be a rainbow somewhere!" And I looked and looked and sure enough, there was a tiny one! Do you see it? It's just to the right of the JayC sign!
