I want to share a couple projects with you today that I made yesterday. I had wanted to try one of these for a long time. It took just a few minutes to make and was so much fun! Some call these treat boxes or candy boxes but I don't know if there really is an official name. It's just fun! These would be great for parties, your desk at work, or just a fun way to share treats with your family and friends!
I made a new goal for myself a while back, about 3 or 4 years ago, to stop limiting myself before I gave myself a chance to see if I could actually do whatever task was before me. I love to knit and would often skip over patterns because I thought it looked too complicated. I love scrapbooking but some techniques were so new to me that I hesitated trying them even though they really intrigued me. Paper crafting is still very new to me as I have only been stamping for one year. However, I have decided to try the things I am intimidated by. It's really a great feeling to accomplish something that I initially thought I couldn't. So my challenge for you today is to try something you have always wanted to do but felt like you couldn't do for some reason. Just try it!!! You won't know if you don't try and you may be really surprised at what abilities you have that you haven't even discovered yet. Don't limit yourself...you can do anything you put your mind to! Try a new recipe, pull out that sewing machine and make that pattern you have put off, write a holiday letter, pull out that stamp set you keep passing over and just play, have fun and experiment! I'd love to see what you come up with. Please leave me a link or e-mail me or post a comment about what you are going to try!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Hugs,

Hey Bridgett! It's great to give yourself a challenge and push your limits! I love pushing my creative boundaries, and trying new techniques. Thanks for the reminder to do so!

This is a great proyect (why didn't you did it before halloween? lol) You did great in putting together starter kits. I'm envious! I had never ever been able to make them.
I'll keep in touch!
