Thank goodness it is Friday, huh? Are you all ready for the weekend? As long as it isn't raining this weekend, I would like to get outside and rake the leaves. It is so much fun but a LOT of work to rake our leaves. I love the fall season and the falling leaves are so beautiful but they are getting really deep so it's time I scoop them all up into piles by the road for the city guys to come and pick them all up!
As I promised, I have the final two 3x3 cards finished and ready to share with you. I had a lot of fun coming up with designs for a card on this scale. I even decided to dress up an RSVP pen with some decorative paper and ribbon for a full set of fun! I'm working on some envelopes and think I may have adapted an idea that might work...we shall see! So without further adieu here are the two cards I finished along with the complete set!
Don't forget to check out Christina's cards and see what all she has been creating in her little corner of the world! Leave her a comment, she always enjoys reading them!
Last night was my last class to teach at Memory Lane Scrapbooking store. I had a lot of fun with two great ladies who seemed to enjoy the fun cards and envelopes we made together! We made a cute little cup card that I thought was so much fun! The 3D cup is a little more bulky than a regular card and since stuffing it into a regular envelope would squish the cup, we made an envelobox for it! It fits inside perfectly without smashing it! Our other project was to make a never-ending winter-themed card. It was so much fun to learn how to make these. I had various sources for inspiration and direction. These end up measuring 6" squared so that is the size envelope we made. How did we make these great envelopes? We used The Enveloper! I love it and you can make any size envelope you'd like from any patterned paper or even wrapping paper as one lady mentioned tonight at the class. You can also add photos to the never ending card to make a fun little holiday coffee table book for all your guests to look at and have fun flipping through it over and over!
