Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone!

Christmas time around here was a lot of fun but it was a lot of running, too! I had hoped to stay home more this year than last but I think we actually did more running to one relative's home after another this year than before.

We finally got the tree put up the day before Christmas eve. I brought up some decorations and ornaments. I am missing quite a few, must still be downstairs, but it worked out well because Javan is walking well now and he can reach up pretty high. Kadesia put the candy canes (our tradition) and the ornaments on the top half of the tree. It looked a little funny but it's okay!
We got a huge snowman for the front yard and Javan was so funny about it. He loved it! He would run to the front door and look outside and yell No-no-no-man! It was so cute!!! I love snowmen, too, and most of my winter decorations are snowmen so he would spot one and get so excited! Here's a picture of my babies on Christmas morning. They had just got out of bed. I loved watching them open their presents and get so excited!
My future sister-in-law celebrated Christmas with our family on Christmas eve. It was so great having her with us and she gave me a basket FULL of awesome goodies. There are binder clips, self-adhesive ribbon, spools of ribbon, rubber stamps that I am so looking forward to using, double sided cardstock, magnetic calendar and to-do list, cross car charm, caramel cocoa, bubble stickers, Winter Berry bath salt and handmade soap that she made a beautiful cover for. I love it all!!! THANK YOU, HANNAH!
I got a lot of beautiful Christmas cards that I wanted to show you all but hadn't ever got a chance to upload yet. While opening one from my upline's upline with The Angel Company, Rita sent me this awesome stamp set! I am so excited to get it and I am very eager to cut it up and start stamping!!! Thank you, Rita!!!
Paul had to work half a day on Christmas Eve. We went to my parents' house after he got home and ate soup and sandwiches and exchanged gifts. Later that evening we went to Paul's aunt and uncle's house on his mom's side. They had some yummy food, too and more gift exchanges. Christmas morning we had Christmas at home and then went to his mom and dad's house at noon. We celebrated with his dad's side of the family. We ate yummy food, played fun games and then Paul, Javan and I went back to my parents' house so I could help my dad with a computer issue, then everyone came back to Paul's parents' house for the evening meal and more games. Friday his parents wanted to give Paul, the kids and me our gifts from them. So they came over for supper and Javan got a brand new toddler bed (yes I am crying!) so they put that together. Then yesterday was Kadesia's birthday party. It was a lot of fun and her cousin spent the night with her. Here's my birthday girl that just turned 7.
Now I am working on getting my craft space organized again! I have so many great projects lined up that I want to show you. I will do that in the next couple of days so I hope you will check back and then by Wednesday I will share some fun news for you all that begins in January! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I will be talking to you again soon!
Hugs,

I know what ya mean about an unorganized craft area, LOL! I haven't stamped for almost a month and everything just gets piled on my stamping desk since it's in our bedroom.

It was nice reading about your holiday celebrations!
