Under Construction!

Hey, everyone!

Notice the change on my blog? Yeah, it looks like my kitchen isn't the only thing under construction! LOL I am working on updating some things and I was playing with some new backgrounds but don't have everything lined up just like I want them yet. I will hopefully have it all squared away by the end of the week!

I made a card tonight for my brother to give a friend of his. She just celebrated her birthday and I thought it would be fun for him to give her a card. Of course I love making cards, so I'll take any excuse I can get! LOL This card is a little unique, though. I had some paper that I thought would be so pretty on a card and it's so pretty that I just let it be the front. I didn't add anything, no sparkle or bling, no ribbon or words....just the pretty paper. I encourage you to do the same with your favorite papers, too!

I had to take the photo before church and had some scanner issues so I couldn't put my photo card in to see how the pictures turned out. They are a little blurry and I am sorry about that. I hope it won't make your eyes cross, though. LOL
The inside white piece has Sunflower Palette ink around the edges and the HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment is from the Trendy Greetings stamp set and inked in Iris Palette ink. It was a fun card to make and didn't take much time at all! These are great for those papers we love to hoard and not use because they are so pretty. For a card like this you can just show it off and stamp the inside for a finished touch!

I hope you've enjoyed this project today. Be sure you come back for the StampTACular Tuesday challenge tomorrow. If you want to see the previous StampTACular Tuesday challenges, click on the label on the side bar. All those posts will come up! Don't forget if you want to come to my class on Saturday, I need to know today so I can get your kit ready. I have 3 signed up and I only have room for 5 at the most! We're making 2 cards and a special project. The cost is $10 and includes the materials. You only need to bring your adhesive to the class. E-mail me for more information. Kits are available for those of you who are unable to attend this class.

Hugs,
