Magnetic Organization Station

Hey, everyone!

Thank you for the get well wishes! I am feeling better than I was but my chest still hurts a lot and I keep coughing. I don't want to take my cough syrup that the N.P. gave me because I am afraid I won't be able to hear the kids if they get up in the night. The antibiotics are working though and Kadesia is doing MUCH better!

I didn't do any stamping on the project I want to share with you today but it is definitely a semi-handmade item! I got this little calendar and notepad from the store on a flimsy little piece of matboard and it eventually fell apart. The notepads were behind the calendar on the same matboard. I decided I would just separate the two, cut a piece of chipboard large enough to hold both, then covered it with a piece of paper from the Kaleidoscope Brites paper from The Angel Company. I put 4 magnet strips on the back and hung it up on my fridge. It holds up well!
With June being a month of graduations, Father's Day and weddings I was thinking how much fun these would be to make for gifts. You could customize these for whatever size you want to include a photo, maybe use a transparency sheet for a dry erase message board, or add the person's name across the top! I think it would make a nice house warming gift, too. You could include a space for a weekly menu and lots more! The notepad on this particular project was already decorated but if you get the plain ones you could stamp them yourself, or even just the top sheet. If you make one, I'd love to see it! Let me know what you think of this magnetic organization station!!! Thanks for hanging out with me today! If you didn't get your newsletter yet, please let me know because I have a special perk for all my E-newsletter subscribers this month! It's a little "bonus" that I won't be sharing on my blog!

Hugs,

I haven't been around in a while. I'm glad to hear your feeling better. Love your organization station. I am going to see more of your recent posts (they are not as they used to be in my reader, they are now showing only the titles and some of the writing.) I've been pretty busy and not doing my rounds through the blogs. I took the day to do so. You're getting better at crafting every day.

Nice project! I love it when one can give things a second life by creating something from bits and pieces. rita w
