Introducing Wild Wednesday

Hey everyone!

Thank you for stopping by today. Today is Wednesday, May 1 and I have declared all Wednesdays in May to be:
free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com
Each Wednesday this month I will post something random that I am currently interested in. I might do a product review, share a link to a cool website I have discovered, or even a fun place to travel. You never know what you might find here on Wild Wednesday throughout the month of May. If you have any suggestions on something you would like to see, leave a comment below. You can also email me at hoosier_card_angel@yahoo.com and put Wild Wednesday in the subject line.

I like to switch things up so throughout the month of May I will have a different theme each day. At the end of the month I may decide to create different themes and then again, I may not. I hope you will share your feedback with me throughout the month to let me know what you think!

On the homefront...today my husband is having surgery. He has a kidney stone and they need to blast it up. I had a kidney stone before and it was extremely painful to pass it. I know he is concerned about that. Please be praying for him! We really appreciate the prayers!

I am halfway done with my finals. I have two more finals to take on Friday and I am hoping to do well. School has been really difficult with my dad having a massive stroke, then his rehabilitiation, and then he went blind, and then discovering he has stage 4 colon cancer with mets to liver. It is challenging enough to be working full-time, being a wife and mother, and in school full-time. Dad's illness has just made things tougher but I am determined to finish what I started and get the degree in nursing I have dreamed of.

So for today's Wild Wednesday post I am going to share this with you: a video tour of Newport Aquarium. This is such a fun place to visit. My husband and I have taken our children a couple of times now and we are going back again in July. I am so eager to go again. Last time I got to pet a shark! It was so wild!!! One of my favorite things to see at the Aquarium is see the tiny little seahorses and adorable penguins. Walking through the tunnel with sharks swimming all around me was pretty crazy but I loved it! I thought I would be scared when I heard about it but it was actually a wonderful way to interact with the sea creatures without being too close! This year I'd like to Ride the Ducks for an experience unlike any other I've ever had. Have you ever been to Newport Aquarium and/or taken a ride on the ducks? What other fun places can families go to have fun? We love to travel and now that my daughter is 11 and my son is almost 6, we enjoy exploring new places with our children and seeing things through their eyes!

I hope you have a wonderful week! Check back tomorrow for Thrifty Thursday!

Hugs,
